Will & Rachel's Wedding at Migis Lodge

The reception took place in the dining room of Migis Lodge which was decorated beautifully and just felt really warm and intimate.

Rachel's Dad gave a great toast

and the flower girl helped to announce Rachel & Will's first dance

The kids TORE IT UP on the dance floor and were so much fun to watch and photograph. These two would dance for awhile, then run away from each other, then come back together - so fun.

The adults didn't do too badly either!

And now for the details.

Rachel's Dad was in charge of creating all the birch bark details and man he did a fabulous job.

Marcia Davis did an amazing job with the flowers

I loved Will's boutonniere

The heart shaped hand made placecards were strung in the living room of the lodge

Rachel found a ton of different sized vases at an antique store and got a great deal on them - each table looked different

Pinecones served as table numbers

And dragon flies served as additional decoration!

More fun with birchbark - I really thought these were a wonderful idea that can translate after the wedding into a beautiful decor item for your home

A shot across the lake at sunset

Rachel & Will - I had such a blast with you both!

I LOVE the music Rachel chose for the slideshow

It's "Ashokan Farewell" from the movie Civil War.
